    What you need for goalie gear:

    Goalie Gloves:  special gloves with more padding.

    Goalie Stick and head

    Goalie Chest protector

    Throat protector-these come in a tie on version and a permanent one that attaches to the helmet.

    Goalie pants are optional but are a nice luxury for younger goalies.

    An protective cup is mandatory for goalies.
